Walt:This term Room 3 have been learning about China to celebrate this learning we made a dance.

This is my mandala. I did this on paint. We as a class are doing this for our home-work.

Country life and Bity life and buildings.

Walt: follow an inquiry process

This term we have been learning about China, we have continued building on the inquiry skills we have learnt in term 2. We brainstormed open questions as a class and then delegated these out to pairs.

The part of China Cindy and I were finding out more about was Country life and city life and buildings. We found our information on the Internet and from books. We used a data chart to make sure we triangulated all our information so we knew it was true. We then used Movie Maker to present our inquiry.

Something I enjoyed was working with with Cindy and adding humor to our movie and at the end when all the class wacth the movie and thought it was funny and a cool movie. My next learning step in inquiry is to remember were i saved my movie and to have patience when the movie is uploading and to remember to be loud and clear when i am speaking and make sure that i am holding the camera still and corectly.

During week 1,we had a verietiy of learning experiencesto tune us into ideas about our new big question for this term-how are cultures and tradtions exspressedthough dance? We had a performance from the boys high pacifica group,a performance from st peters pacifica group and the drumming workshop. I enjoyed the drumming workshop the most becouse it had different sound.
